Where you stay shapes the season you get. Our residences sit in Sag Harbor — a former whaling village with the Hamptons' most walkable Main Street — and in Bridgehampton, the agricultural heart of the South Fork, where farm stands and vineyards give way to the ocean in minutes.

Time To Go

The Year on the South Fork

Every season brings its own charm to the Hamptons — and vice versa. Summer is the one everybody knows; the other three are the ones worth knowing.

Spring

Mar – May

This sleeping beauty shakes her hair and stretches, lush greenness slowly returning to the East End. The days can be deceivingly beautiful — wait for late May for consistent good weather.

Shoulder

Summer

Jun – Aug

The traditional MD–LD rush, Memorial Day to Labor Day. The beaches are literally award-winning and the cuisine multiplies as summer pop-ups cater to the expanded crowd.

Peak · book early

Fall

Sep – Nov

Things get a little quiet again — still beautiful and nicely weathered on most days, with the crowds gone home and the corner table finally free.

Quiet

Winter

Dec – Feb

The hamlets come alive with local celebrations before the winter hibernation. Few places offer such rustic charm for a creative retreat and reflection.

What We'd Tell A Friend

Things To Do

A typical visit is spent at the beach, in the pool, at the grill, in the restaurant and under the stars — mostly in great company, and not always in that order.

This is true summer retreat territory, where celebrities and locals share the surf and compete for the corner table. Tell your concierge what kind of day you want and we'll shape it around you.

The Beach

Award-winning sand from Coopers to Main Beach, with permits, chairs and umbrellas arranged before you arrive.

The Vineyards

A visit to a local vineyard belongs on every itinerary — the East End wine country sits a short drive north.

Montauk

The cliff walk around the lighthouse at the very end of the island, and a working harbor beneath it.

The Villages

A stroll through the sculpture gardens, walks and ice cream in Sag Harbor and Southampton, shopping in East Hampton.

The Hamptons Lifestyle

Relaxation, Meet Refinement

Mornings on the sand, farm stands by the roadside, an afternoon in a village gallery, a table booked for dinner by the harbor. The Hamptons moves at its own pace — and a season here is the surest way to feel it.

Every SEASONAL residence removes the friction of a long stay: the kitchen is stocked, the beds are made, the concierge is a message away. All that's left is the season itself.

Questions, Answered

Staying in The Hamptons — FAQ

When is the best time to book a Hamptons stay?

Summer is the peak season and books earliest — many guests reserve their residence months ahead. Spring and autumn offer quieter beaches, lower rates and the same fully serviced standard, and are increasingly popular for longer, restorative stays.

What is the minimum stay in The Hamptons?

30 nights, in keeping with SEASONAL's fully serviced residence model. Seasonal stays of a summer or longer are common; monthly rates are available on request.

How far are the residences from the beach?

Every Hamptons residence is within a short drive of the ocean — most within ten minutes. Your concierge can arrange beach permits, chairs and equipment before you arrive.

How do I get to The Hamptons from New York City?

About two hours by car, or via the Long Island Rail Road and the Hampton Jitney. We can arrange private transfers, and many guests keep a car for the season.

What's included in a Hamptons residence?

The fully furnished home, all utilities and WiFi, standard housekeeping setup and 24/7 concierge support. Optional add-ons — private chef, daily housekeeping, beach setup, transfers — are billed separately.

A Home For Every Season
