The Space
The pleasure of Sea Farm is space, and plenty of it — designed with quiet comfort and luxury in mind. Inside, designer furniture and a fresh, considered update give the house a calm, unhurried elegance; four bedrooms and three baths mean a party of twelve can spread out and still find its own quiet corners. A double-height foyer opens to a library and two offices, a media and meditation room, and a dedicated work-out space; the primary suite has a jacuzzi en-suite and sunset views, with king and queen guest rooms and further lower-level accommodations for the full twelve. But the grounds are where Sea Farm truly earns its name. The heated pool is the still center of it all, made for slow mornings and golden afternoons, framed by beautifully maintained lawns and the open, mile-long views of the neighboring nursery. For the active, easy access to two har-tru and one all-weather tennis court turns a lazy stay into a friendly tournament whenever the mood strikes. The Neighborhood
This is the Hamptons' countryside heart — the village a single handsome street of galleries, cafés and the Candy Kitchen's eternal counter, the rest given over to horse farms, vineyards and fields that turn gold on schedule. Ten minutes in any direction delivers the best of the East End: the ocean beaches south, Sag Harbor's whaling streets north, Southampton and East Hampton on either shoulder. Late August brings the Hampton Classic, when the horse world arrives in force and the whole village smartens up for it. Getting Around
Getting around: Sea Farm sits ten minutes from everything that matters, which is the whole argument for Bridgehampton. A car makes the East End yours; the Hampton Jitney and the LIRR both stop in the village for the carless.
