“We were 8 ( middle aged) ladies but could have easily fit 12 very comfortably and up to 14/15 for close friends (I.e, would be sharing full beds at that point).”
Every so often a home earns its name. Welcome to the West Village Gem — a private, quiet townhouse apartment on what may be the most charming street in the most charming corner of New York. In just over 400 light-filled square feet, it is designed to live, work and stay: a small jewel box of a home, contemporary and considered, where a single bedroom, a tidy kitchenette and a comfortable dining and lounging area come together with the ease of somewhere much larger. The showpiece is a delightful landing that looks out over the cobblestones and townhouse façades below — the kind of view that turns a morning coffee into a moment. For a couple, or a solo traveler who knows exactly what they want, this is the West Village distilled.

The Space
Small spaces, done well, are their own art form — and this one is done beautifully. Light pours through the windows and finds designer finishes at every turn, so the apartment feels bright, airy and roomy rather than compact. Eleven-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows do the heavy lifting, and this is a landmark building — one flight up, no elevator. The bedroom is a calm and comfortable retreat around its queen bed; the kitchenette — two electric burners and no oven, so think stovetop suppers rather than roasts — handles the morning espresso and the impromptu supper with equal grace; the dining and lounging area is made for quiet relaxation, a good book, a long conversation, with a 55-inch 4K TV for the evening in. And then the landing — that small, perfect perch above the prettiest street in the Village, where you will find yourself lingering far longer than you planned. It is a home that proves the point Seasonal was built on: that comfort is a matter of care, not square footage. Everything here has been chosen to make a jewel box feel like a home away from home.

Your Stay
The apartment is entirely private and entirely yours. Our team is a message away for the length of your stay — pantry stocked before arrival, housekeeping arranged, a table booked, a car called. The West Village is a neighborhood best discovered on foot, and few are better for it: hidden gardens, corner cafés, historic streets that reward an aimless wander. Ask us where to go and we will send you off like a local, then leave you to fall for the place. We are always here to help.
24/7 Concierge
Our 24/7 Concierge Team is available for any request — local recommendations, reservations and personal assistance throughout your stay.

The Neighborhood
This is a neighborhood that rewards the aimless — 19th-century townhouses, window boxes in competition, gas-lamp light that flatters everyone. Days here are made of small perfect things: an espresso on a quiet corner, an hour lost in a bookshop, jazz found behind an unmarked door. The Hudson River Park waits a short walk west for the sunset ritual, and the rest of the city — when you remember it exists — is minutes away. Comfortable, storied and endlessly walkable; the Village doesn't try to impress you. She doesn't have to.
Getting Around
Getting around: Leave the car behind — this is Manhattan's great walking neighborhood. The 1 at Christopher Street–Sheridan Square, two minutes from the door, runs the length of the West Side; the A/C/E and B/D/F/M at West 4th Street reach everywhere else. Taxis drift down Seventh Avenue South at all hours, and the rest of the city is rarely more than twenty minutes away — though you may find you stop wanting it.

Good To Know
The Village runs on the pleasant accident. Pick a crooked street — West 4th famously crosses West 10th here, so don't trust the map — follow it, and trust that the espresso, the hidden garden and the perfect lunch counter will present themselves. They always do, usually in that order.

“The house is gorgeous and in a great location. Seasonal is super responsive and was very accommodating. Highly recommend.”
“This is an absolutely beautiful house and really well located particularly for Central Park and the Met but very easy access to the subway and a short walk to some of the 5th Avenue shops! Had a great time with another family (9 of us in total) and space worked really well. Would definitely recommend - Seasonal was also super attentive.”

Almost always — tell us early and we'll hold the calendar. Many of our favorite guests arrived for a month and left after a season.
It's a jewel box — honestly and intentionally sized for one or two. For a larger party, our Diplomat collection in Midtown East sleeps up to ten, and we're happy to point you there.
The 1 at Christopher Street, with the A/C/E and B/D/F/M a few blocks east at West 4th — most of Manhattan is a single ride away.
